Update December 2024:

I’m sure this goes without saying that this year wasn’t what I hoped for release wise, but there is a reason for that. I just wanted to give a little update and say that I will still be releasing new books in time. Just know that works from Michelle Hardin are coming and they will be worth every bit of the wait. I’ve been gone for a while so it’s been something trying to transition back into my writing passion, but I’m confident that once I start releasing again I will get back in the groove of it. Pray for me readers and friends, and have the Happiest Christmas and New Years.

Update: Still working and loving what’s coming. I want to let you all know that I haven’t disappeared, just been organizing. I won’t be able to release in 2022 as I planned. But understand this in no way means I will not be releasing at all. The comeback is most definitely still coming … Things have changed in my life drastically. Also, I’m a caregiver (IYKYK). The unpredictability of what I may have had to do each day effected how much time I had in the day. The understanding and patience has been so appreciated. It will be well worth the wait. I’m so excited to share everything I’ve been working on with all of you, and now that my responsibilities as a caregiver have lessened significantly (due to wonderful health improvements). I’ve been re-adjusting to pouring the majority of my time into myself and my passion (these books). Those who are caregivers understand what I mean by re-adjusting lol. I can’t wait you all. And I hope no one is holding any negative feelings toward me because of my absence. I assure you it has not been because I’ve wanted to be absent. I’ve missed everyone! Much Love. Michelle.

  12. The book was the SHIT! I cant wait for part 2. Loved both Nathan and Carter and all the rest of the characters in this book but I must say after the hero/heroine, loved Kyle and Mickey…Just great secondary characters but the love that Carter and Nathan have for each other is fierce and to die for..cant wait for the next book. Come on, please release it soon!

Carter, “The Five”, Angelo and though I know very little of her, Anastacia; they are all awesome and animated characters. Excellent work and congratulations on your first book. I look forward to reading more. Also, when can we all anticipate the release of Mafia Princess?

    FYI…..you are most definitely up there among the best and my personal favorite authors Violette Dubrinsky, Pepper Pace and Latrivia Nelson.

    Fantastic read, it was very hard for me to put it down and found myself staying up till all hours reading. Please release part 2 as quickly as you can.

    • Nathan and Carter’s adventure will last three books. Dangerous Beauty Destiny, Dangerous Beauty A Mafia Princess, and Dangerous Beauty The Five. When I finish their journey I plan on doing some stand alones for some of the other characters :). I did Carter and Nathan’s story in three different books because There is far too much story for one book. Each book is a full length novel. The third book will wrap up Carter and Nathan’s story. They will be seen in the three stand alones though.

  18. YES YES YES! The 3 stand alones must be Micky, Lucca and of course Kyle. I need Kyle to get his own woman. I’m a tad bit uncomfortable with him and Carter being so close. There is nothing wrong with them being best friends but the intimate thoughts I feel cross the line and borders on disrespect for her relationship with Nathan. Can’t wait for book 2&3 and the other 3 stand alones. Great Job Michelle! You have been place on my favorite author list.

  24. Really enjoyed the book. Looking forward to part 2. Only comments are more editing is needed. There were tons of typos. I think the first sentence of the book had errors. Also, no need to go on about how beautiful Carter is so much. It definitely got old. Despite these things I still loved the story and can’t wait until August!

    • Thank you for commenting :). I appreciate your constructive criticism. It is much needed. Not everyone was as kind about their dislike for the editing issues. This is my first book, and I did make a lot of mistakes that I do not plan on repeating in my future works (including Book two of this series). And about Carter’s beauty…lol…I’ll try. I want the readers to be entertained, not annoyed. I’ll see if I can tone it down in the future stories. I guess I was just thinking too much, I wanted to make sure I was able to give the reader a picture in their head. As I’ve grown in my writing I’ve learned more subtle ways to do that :). Once again thank you for the comment. I’m glad the downfalls in the book didn’t take away from the story for you.

  25. Great story-line. Characters all awesome. Love how the family will not tolerate selling humans! I will be looking for more to come. I think the references to Carter’s beauty was needed, because so often black women are just considered ………(not gonna repeat negatives) it’s apparent that she’s beautiful inside and out.

  27. I’m so happy that I purchased this book! I love every character. I love how Carter and Nathan were set to be together from early in their childhood. The characters are funny, loving, and tight as glue. Two things, I don’t enjoy the way Carter behaves with Kyle, it’s too much! Secondly, please keep “The Five” together, no deaths please. Luca, Dante, Mickey and Kyle all need stand-alone books please and thank you. Can you have Jenna and Kyle get together, I love how they lobe to hate o e another.

    • That’s an interesting pair lol Kyle and Jenna. I never thought about it. I can give it some thought though Kyle’s character is very mysterious, he has a lot going on so I’m going to take him in a direction that has nothing to do with love, before he finds that special someone. I think my first stand alone for the five will be Mickey. But that can change : ) thank you for posting! I enjoyed reading!

To be honest Michelle, I’ve read this story 3 TIMES now. 1) I just love this freaking book 2) I need to be prepared for book two..I’m stalking this page like a burglar, waiting for the notification to purchase book two 3) You’re an outstanding writer, who actually read and answer her posts. Mickey as a stand alone book is an excellent choice! Continue to embrace your imagination, and if I just so happen to miss saying this..Happy birthday gun, May it be filled with love, happiness, gifts, dancing and of course a frozen margarita!

  30. I’m only 47% through book two, but I think I’m love with Cesare. Maybe I should not say that since I have not finished the book, but I like that man. Don’t know if you have already gave him a love interest in this book,but if not please make me his love interest.

  31. I just finished reading DB2 and I am so mad that I can’t immediately click on the 3rd installment. This was amazing. I felt like I connected with each of the characters the twists and the turns were surprisingly unexpected and kept me engaged from the first page to the last. I know part 2 just came out but please please please hurry and let us know when we van expect part 3. If you keep putting out books of this caliber you definitely have a fan for life.

  32. Wow oh wow. Spent all day yesterday reading book 2. Another masterpiece. I really loved that you focused on Nathan and Carter and their relationship and not so much on her and the other 4 (but I do love them!). Personally I’m a little uncomfortable with Carter’s flirting. I think there’s flirting and then there’s FLIRTING. Finding Cesare attractive is one thing and playfully letting him know but the added bit of her shaking out her hair and sitting on Cesare was took much for me. I do understand the appeal of all the guys which sets all of them up for their own stories. I’m super duper hyped about book 3 and the other stand alones. Ohhh, can’t imagine who you will pair Mickey with but I’m excited. Please please pair Kyle with Carter’s new best friend Aniyah. I love how she’s crushing on him. Also, despite what some people may say I loved how you described Carter and also Aniyah. I love that you exaggerate the ladies beauty because our beauty does need to be highlighted.     U outdid yourself with this book. Loved me some Nathan and Carter. Love all the originals. Love Kyle, Mickey, Dante and Luca….Loved the drama, suspense and romance and the sex scenes were hot…my kind of book. Plot was interesting and well developed along with character motivation..Loved Angelo and Anastasia….can’t wait for book 3”say it’s coming out this year, please!

  35. This book was AMAZING!!!! The character development, the story, the setting–all of it leaves me feeling like my heart stopped when I realized I finished the book. I read it in two days and now I’m wishing I had waited until part three came out to avoid suspense! Great work!
    And to other readers…STOP mentioning the typos. It was not that bad. The story was so good it’s like complaining about a speck among gold! Knock it off. I’m sure she’s aware and working to keep it to a minimum.
    To the author, I have to ask, can u give us a time estimate on the release date for part 3???

  36. Michelle…Michelle…Michelle, honey. I can’t, I just can’t do this again . I just read Dangerous Beauty:2. I had to give you five stars of course! My one-click index finger was having an anxiety attack, waiting for the book to populate in Amazon. I must say, I couldn’t put the book down. I love Nathan and Carter! I loved how you showed some complexities and naivety of the relationship. I love their arguments, fears, sadness, but most importantly I love how they love one another. Your cliffhangers though! I’m on edge with so many questions from that cliffhanger alone. Sweetie, you have written this series so well that you could developed six more books. With your stand alone I think it should begin with Angelo and Anastasia story. Then Kyle and Aniyah story. Then Mickey and Lucca story. I want to shake you because how great this story was…aaaaarrrggghhhh!!!!!!!

But If you have a laptop of a desktop computer, or an Android, you can download kindle app for free, and read the book from there 🙂 ! That’s one of the great perks od kindle! I Don’t have a kindle but I do read from the kindle app on my computer and phone 🙂

  40. Michelle this was another great book! As soon as I finished I rushed to check the website to see when book 3 was coming out. I love Anastacia and Angelo. A prequel about the two of them would be awesome. I thought the editing was really good this time and the references to Carter’s beauty was just right. I’ll admit I may be picky because while I’m not an author, I do write high quality documents for a living. I completely understand how challenging the editing process can be. I will continue to stalk the site for the release of Part 3! Side note: I totally proofread this before posting : )

This is one of those best mafia books that I have read in a long time I ran crossed it by accident look for something to read then low and behold I came across this one I read both of them glad I didn’t have to wait for the second one but I’m waiting on the third one I will be stalking amazon ready to point and click oh yes I love the lenght of the book some authors have started putting out fifty,sixty pages and so on then charge a lot,this two books w as s the best and I just love interracial mafia books I just found me a new authors waiting on the next one.

  48. I read a little of the book part two was enjoying til I had learned that Dante is gay why would u have that fine man. Be gay? That just wrong. They all sounds sexy but u would have one of The Five hitting for his own team. I am kno this is not really life but come on. I have no problem’s with gay men but he sounds sexy I would have like to read a book about him but not anymore.

    • Hi Laquita 🙂 I hope you don’t stop reading the book because of that. Dante’s character has been gay from the beginning, I just didn’t put it in Part One. I think he’s sexy too, and his sexuality doesn’t stop him from being sexy, he’s just sexually attracted to men. To me, the acceptance and genuine love his brother’s have shown him shows how real and how strong their bond is. Further in the story there is brief talk of what Dante went through to accept his own sexuality and he also talks about how much more he loved his brothers after they accepted him without a thought. Dangerous Beauty is a story of love. Not just the romantic love between a man and a woman, but the love of a family, the love that brothers have for one another, and the love that Carter develops for a mother that she thought abandoned her. 🙂 Thanks for writing me, I hope you continue to read and enjoy.
