Update December 2024:

I’m sure this goes without saying that this year wasn’t what I hoped for release wise, but there is a reason for that. I just wanted to give a little update and say that I will still be releasing new books in time. Just know that works from Michelle Hardin are coming and they will be worth every bit of the wait. I’ve been gone for a while so it’s been something trying to transition back into my writing passion, but I’m confident that once I start releasing again I will get back in the groove of it. Pray for me readers and friends, and have the Happiest Christmas and New Years.

Update: Still working and loving what’s coming. I want to let you all know that I haven’t disappeared, just been organizing. I won’t be able to release in 2022 as I planned. But understand this in no way means I will not be releasing at all. The comeback is most definitely still coming … Things have changed in my life drastically. Also, I’m a caregiver (IYKYK). The unpredictability of what I may have had to do each day effected how much time I had in the day. The understanding and patience has been so appreciated. It will be well worth the wait. I’m so excited to share everything I’ve been working on with all of you, and now that my responsibilities as a caregiver have lessened significantly (due to wonderful health improvements). I’ve been re-adjusting to pouring the majority of my time into myself and my passion (these books). Those who are caregivers understand what I mean by re-adjusting lol. I can’t wait you all. And I hope no one is holding any negative feelings toward me because of my absence. I assure you it has not been because I’ve wanted to be absent. I’ve missed everyone! Much Love. Michelle.

  2. This was a great end to Carter and Nathan but I am curious as to your pairings for Lucca and Mickey I think I see where Kyle is going 😉 and Dante is set what about my favorite two? I am also curious if you have any plans for Isabella?

    • Hey girl! I wanted to keep that element of surprise (lol) I know who they are going to love for evers and evers. And I think I’m writing a novella for Dante and Gabriel, since their chapter was one of my fav. Isabella is a star and she will be present throughout the series and she will have her own story. Lots to come 🙂

But it cannot end there, I don’t know how your other fans feels, but the series centered around Nathan and Carter’s life must continue… Think about Sienna Mynx’s on her series: the Battaglias’. I know it will be a lot of work on your part but knowing about the high level of your work we wouldn’t mind waiting for more on my favorite young couple. You must admit there story cannot be put to sleep, there is so much more that needs to be written and said. Yeah, I know that you have stand alone stories coming up on the lives of the guys , and it’s wonderful to do but I will reinterate again Your readers needs to be involve in Nathan and Carter’s life. I love their lifestyle within the family backdrop etc… Please Michelle I’m begging you don’t end it there.

    • NEVER! I cannot end it there for them (lol) we’re just getting to the good stuff. Look out for them throughout this entire series, and after we give the guys a little time to shine we’ll come back to Nate and my girl Carter 😉

I’ve read every single db book and you’ve made me fall in love with your characters and your writing. I can’t wait for the stand alone books because i feel as though there’s so much for you to explore with them. I agree with Jazzy lady that you should expand on Nathan and Carter’s story. That would be so amazing and I would love for you to dive more into Anastasia and Caesars relationship as well as find a lady love for Angelo. I don’t want him to be alone. Just know you have found a forever fan in me. I can’t wait to see what else you bring to the table 😘☺️

  6. I loved this third book. I am a big fan of Sienna Mynx and Mallory Monroe. Your work kept me totally engaged and intrigued as to what would happen next. I love the introduction of Carter’s Board and look forward to their intermingling with The Five. It looks like Mickey and Isabella might have a connection….don’t know, just saying. Anyway I can’t wait for the next installment. You are writing your behind off:)

Dear Michelle, this series was just amazing and it feels as you get better and more creative with each installment so I’m looking forward yo your next ventures :))) This third was long due (for me) but it was so worth the wait 🙂 I loved every single characters of the series but my heart was set on Anastacia. I am so happy that she ended with the person that was just best for her, I rooted for her as soon she came back in Carter’s life. She finally got the happy ending she longed for even though she had to g through one more heartache.Have you ever considered telling Anastacia’s story as prequel ? Either way, I’m a fan !

    • Yes! Finally someone that loves Anastacia as much as I do. I love her, I had to give her a HEA, after everything she’s been through throughout her life, she deserved one. I’m so happy you enjoyed the story. An Anastacia Stone story is a possibility for the future. Right now you can just expect to see her quite often in the stories to come in the series. She is involved in the lives of her children and step-sons (Kyle, and Mickey), o she’ll be present in pretty much everyone’s book 🙂

  8. Hello Michelle! So I like love you! Lol! I read part one so far and absolutely loved it! The dynamic between the characters especially among Carter and The Five let alone she and Nathan has me laughing and awing at the same time. I absolutely love it! And so I’m also secretly in love with The Five, but with Lucca more so. Hehe! Will he be having a book? (Because I truly hope so! Lol!) And any insights on the girl as of yet? I so hope she’s a spit fire that will ‘Tick’ him off real good! Lmao! And for some reason I envisioned her tall, sexy, stunning, black….lol…with short hair. I don’t know why but the short hair like pixie cut with massive curls is imperative! Haha! Well anywho, I just hope he finds the love of his life! Thank you so much for taking the time to write! I really did enjoy myself and can’t wait to binge read the second one!

    • Ahhh!!! I love binge reading, it’s the best! I want to say so much to you, but I don’t want to give anything away!! I love Lucca too! After you read book three you will see tat there is a woman that I have in mind for him. She is just a fierce as he is, and she isn’t the one that everyone may think. Lucca is a Salerno, and Salerno men have and addiction to Alpha-women, lol. I’m actually writing his story now, along with Kyle’s, Mickey, and one for Dante! I can’t wait to see what you think of the direction the series has taken thus far! Book Three is my absolute favorite! Hope to hear from you again!!

  9. I absolutely love your books!! It’s so refreshing to read any book, yet alone a mafia one, with such bad ass heroines! I was so happy to see the introduction of all of Carter’s girls in the third book and am excited to see where the series goes. I really want everyone to find their forever love and I’ve been wondering who everyone will end up with. I know it’s going to be worth the wait, but all the hints you’ve dropped have me really intrigued, especially on Lucca’s match now…lol. Since only 3 of the guys are available, I’m wondering if the rest of Carter’s girls will get their own stories (aside from Isabelle) and find love? If so, might they find it with some of the secondary characters like Freddy Russia for instance? Also love the Pierce sisters and hope that you have plans for them to find their own mafia bad boy and love (hint…hint for Tamara since I think I see where Reanna is going :)).

    • Hey! Thanks so much. I’m so glad you’re enjoying the series so far! This list of standalones so far includes: Kyle, Mickey, Lucca, Dante&Gabe, Isabella, Freddy Russia, Pauli Luchinin. There may be more added in the future :). Both Pierce sister will have their HEA and so far three of Carter’s girls have an HEA coming, two of them with some loveable bad boys, and one with a wonderfully loveable civilian that was in the wrong place at the wrong time lol. I’m excited about the future of the series 🙂

I’ll have my one-click finger ready and waiting and if you happen to want to publish any other non-mafia related type of book while you get the rest these stand alones going I’ll be happy to get that as well :). By the way, I forgot to mention that your Pinterest boards are fabulous! They were great in helping me visualize all of the guys and Carter’s girls in Book 3 and I was constantly referring back to them. Thanks for keeping us fans updated so well on all fronts and I’m super excited to read all those stand alones!

  14. Soooo, your story telling is like BAE ( valley girl voice) and you’re like supercalifragilisticexpialidocious LOVE ! Loved it and cannot wait for more. So many different avenues to explore and stories to tell. You are amazinggggg! I loved the pace, story telling, new characters ( LOVEEEEE), I just loved everything, lol. Dante and Cesare being the eyes in the Salerno Organization (loved that so much) and for some reason that truth stuck with me, I can’t stop thinking about that. I could type forever and ever about all the things I loved. Oh my gosh, the possible love interests. Loved it and cannot wait for more 🙂

    • Cynthia was Angelo’s significant other for a few years. She a socialite that comes from a family of politicians. Being with her gave Angelo the edge he needed in the political community. By the end of book three it isn’t said whether he is still with her or not, but Angelo’s love life will be mentioned through out the series.

  17. Summer line up 2015 I don’t see any mention of Anastasia and cesare,
    or Angelo, will they be mentioned in those series?

    • *Smiles innocently* yesss I know. I haven’t written them up there for individual book because I have seen a story line in my head yet, but when I do I will. But they will all be in the books coming out soon. The Salerno’s are a tight nit family The originals and Ana will be making a ton of appearance through out the series 🙂

    I love your writting. The aspect of a strong female is romance needs to be embraced more. Everything you write is fabulous, I keep track steadily. What happened to the excerpt from that other book you were working on. With the queen?.I think it was an alien or angels or some type of special species book? I was excited for that.

    • Ahh! Yes! You must be talking about Aazora!! That will be my first paranormal I’m very excited about it. It’s Angels/Demon-Vampires/Wolves and much more. I’m hoping to dive back into that project by the end of the year! Keep a look out I will be posting more snippets of that.   26. I loved reading the Dangerous Beauty series and ready for more of the five. I am particularly interested in what happens in the lives of Kyle, Lucca, Mickey and Isabella. I personally think Mickey and Isabella could have something there. I though Kyle would have formed a relationship with Reanna, nothing wrong with Anyi, but girl got to big for her panties coming at Carter like that.

  30. Absolutely the BEST series I have ever read. I’m an avid reader and I usually avoid series because they either feel rushed and incomplete, but your books kept me engaged. I absolutely fell in love with the characters. Carter is my girl and i cannot wait to read the other stories to come. Keep up the GREAT work. True talent.

  31. These books were such a great read that I started to read them at work and didn’t care. Lol then went on to tell everyone who would listen lol. Unfortunately the weekend was too short to get all 3 in, however you kept the element of surprise so intriguing I just could not stop reading. I learnt a lot and it reminded me why people are the way they are. Not because they want to sometimes, but because of some element in their lives, positive or negative, that shapes their character. Lol i love Carter, she’s “ah boss” i.e. “that chic.” I love the fact that she loves to love despite her ‘less spirited’ side. You must continue writing about she and Nathan, this series has set a nice tone for me to want to hear all about their lives. Keep up the great work!

  38. Okay, so I’ve been checking the blog as well as the FB page almost daily and haven’t gotten any real info I feel like, its all a tad vague. So I’m just curious to know what exactly is it that you mean when you say “almost ready” or “nearly done”? Bc here’s the thing I read the updates and I still feel a bit lost. Help a sister out please and thank you….

    • I’ve struggled through this story line a bit, and were I wanted the series as a whole to go. When I read over, I didn’t have the confidence I usually have when I read a story I’m ready to publish so I went back in, found what I hated and deleted it. Now I’m replacing it, and I have to say that though I hate making you all wait longer than I intended to, I’m really glad I decided to do so. I’ve been unorganized and distracted this year, and as a result the original story I had felt rushed, so I went back in the story and slowed things down a bit. I’ve had a rough year but I plan on putting everything back on track starting with this story 🙂 . I hope this helps you understand what it is I’m doing with the story. Once again, I’m so sorry that my updates are confusing, but I really am working day and night to pull this together and I am nearly to the finish line. Then after that comes two weeks of editing. I have a calendar, and I’ve finally reached the point where I feel comfortable setting a date. I will announce that once I send Kyle’s book back to the editor. So … does this help? 🙂 If not, ask me anything! I’m happy to clear up any confusion I may have caused because of my prolonging the release of this story.

    • Hey. I’ve been stalking Facebook and this site to see if the book was published yet and would like a slightly clearer idea of when to expect the book. Are we looking at this week or more towards the end of the month?

      • Hey! I’m pushing for closer to the end, then the beginning. Only because I fear that if I don’t I’ll rush it, and mess up, and readers notice when the author gets speedy, and careless. I don’t want the editing to suck. I’m working though, and the book is getting there. I’m feeling the nerves now too, because release is getting so close, so that’s a good sign! 🙂 I’ll write you a few days before release to give you a heads up!

  49. This is too much I been following this story from the begin. And I know we all have issue and I’m a big fan but you drop the ball on this one. You given three different time frame when this book would be release. And have not kept your word once some of the lady in my book club are very unhappy and I feel like other arelated too but don’t have the balls to you. I do this the second time you done this and it’s not fair to your followers.

Take your time and give the quality that us, your readers and fans, have been expecting from you. Nothing is more frustrating than re-reading a sentence or paragraph numerous times because of spelling or grammar errors in trying to decipher what the author meant to say if it was properly written. Anxiously waiting for Kyle, good job Michelle!!!
