   • Hey honey bunches! No new news yet, just taking my time, not leaving nothing out, and letting the story speak to me. You know, hippie stuff like that. But I’m still around, writing DB 5 and stuff. The only thing I know now is that I’m writing the awesome story of the two awesomeness people, but I won’t announce anything further until it’s in the editors hand. I hope you’re having a fantastic start to the year, and its so nice to hear from you ❤ .

Nice to hear from a fellow Missourian that has a love for the written arts, I suppose my advice to you would be exactly what I did READ. READ, read, and read some more, until you dream in novel talk. Then after that Just go for it. Sit down, and start writing. Release your imagination, don’t hold back just because you’re afraid it won’t be received well. Just do it. There are no tips are tricks that can help you write a good book, at least in my opinion their aren’t. There’s just you, a blank page, and your beautiful imagination. ❤

7. I just finished Kyles book and I feel him and Reanna still have a story to tell….🤔🤔🤔

   • *smiles* me too. There are still a ton that needs to be addressed, but because they also involve other character I wanted to wait. Reanna had a story too, a background, I wanted chance to connect them. We’ll have some fun as the series moves along though. Kyle has found himself for sure. No more broken boy. He know his power now. There’s a line that a newly introduce crime boss has in Part Five. Lucca’s trying to ‘make friends ‘ with the (very dangerous) man, and he hesitates, and says “I don’t know about that,” he laughed in a tone lacking humor. “I hear the Salerno organization has more than a few wolves stalking around their organization. I’m not interested in dying…”
     Frowning, Lucca questioned, “Wolves?” Cause last he’d checked there were no wolves walking around the S.O. building.
     “Stones,” he explained himself in yet another one of those humorless laughs. “There’s a saying out there now, don’t know if you’ve heard it. Walking in the room with a Stone is the equivalent of walking into hell.”
     Lucca’s brows rose, as the man’s head nodded. Hmm…
     “Can’t be trusted. They manipulate, lie, and have a thing for mutilation that just doesn’t sit right with me …”
     LOL
     But yeah. Kyle coming into his own was my favorite part. Other things that will be addressed in future stories.

   • Reanna is still preggers in the beginning of book five we’ll get a quick peak at the couple before delivery because she’s pretty far along. There are plenty of parts with all of the kids in the upcoming book! 🙂 okay. No more spoilers for you lols

11. OMG someone suggested this series to me and I’m in love love love. I love how you have both an alpha male and an alpha female. I love the connection between Nathan and Carter and the connection they have with all the other characters as well. I can’t wait to read Lucas’s story. Keep up the great work.

16. I think I am going to assume DB5 will come out in 2018. So I’ll go back and reacquaint myself with the series so far. There is nothing like reading the next book and scratching your head trying to remember what happened in the previous books. So D1 -4 here I come. Now where is that wine. 🙂

23. Any more recent news on a release date for DB 5, Dark Beauty yet? So waiting for this book, I’ve read the rest of the series and on my 3rd reading of Beautifully Broken…needing more Kyle and Reanna, I wish more on their wedding would’ve been included, but am anxious to read the next chapters in their story. I love this series.

    • I’m honored the series inspired you to write this!! Aniyah with a child, and with Freddy Russia! Wow! You really took it there! Good story! far less vindictive then what I have going on, but I’m crazy so I’m sure you expected that. You are a talented writer, and I love that it was in first person. It was Interesting seeing the characters personalities, and actions from a mind other than my own. You turned down the crazy a notch or three. I tried to do that myself, but… nope, it didn’t work out. Especially with Mickey! I had fun watching him be so nice, lol. This was kind of what Aniyah wanted … except Ms. Clark’s story is much different in my dreams. But she did genuinely want to be in the whole familial circle of the Salerno/Stone family. She wanted to be one of them, wants a sort of power as well, influence, the lifestyle of a woman that is the object of a powerful man’s affection. She envied Carter for this reason. She snapped on Carter for this reason also. She got a taste of the good life with Kyle. It was so interesting seeing the difference in our imagination with the same characters. So thank you! No one has ever done something like this with the series before. It was lots of fun reading it. I’ll share in my next blog post so that others may see 🙂 ❤

It was indeed my pleasure (a true labor of love for the awesome characters you have brought into the universe)…I wasn’t going to write it but I talked it over with my mom and sister (yea we got a mini book club going on with your Dangerous Series) and they said I had to do this. Freddy Russia was a challenge since I had to get creative with what he looked like, his temperament, etc. but if you’re smiling I guess my crazy brain made it work. I am so glad the first person platform worked….that was a gamble. But for some reason the story just needed to be told that way. Again I am glad you enjoyed. I do have my “eye” on Mickey’s off-again on-again cook but I’ll wait for #5 before I fan-fiction pen again.

    • Hate to see you go, but I understand. If waiting for my next releases is weighing on you, I say let it go. Life’s too short. I have loyal and understanding fans that I talk to, and that will stick by me. I can’t let comments like these get to me while I’m taking my time to get my stories right. I have to continue writing for them. I wish you well, there are plenty of good authors out there.

    I’ll gladly wait for your books. I have other writers that I like to read that keeps me busy, other than life. Not to far in the past we waited, and we gladly waited for a writer to put OUT a book. That’s what we did that’s who we were. We can be very (right now) world. Just because you can have it now doesnt mean you should.
    When I say I’m coming I’ll be there….if you cant wait for me then you should find something else to get you where you think you have to be yesterday. It’s not a problem to wait its good for you…lol

42. Very anxious to read book five in this series. The first 4 where humorous and very imaginative. A very good read. I thought it hilarious that the Sicilian Mafia would hook up with all these African-American chicks, that was totally imaginative and I loved it. But please let some other Italian women or some white women find Mickey or an Indian woman at least. I think it’s just a bit far fetched to see them all married to African American woman for anyone’s imagination. They’re very good stories, especially Nathan and Carter, are a perfect match, both crazy, although i think Carter has him beat with crazy, she’s just a bit too crazy. But I am awaiting Lucca’s story. My only downside with this series is that it seems a bit incestuous with everybody being so hooked up tight like that. As gorgeous as these men are described it’s a bit far-fetched as to why some woman hasn’t snapped a couple of them up already. I loved Kyle’s story but it was just a bit slow moving, but good just the same. He’s a sweetie. I really don’t like Anastacia, jumping from Angelo to Cesare and back and forth, very slutty. Her ego just leaves me flat. And the baby she and Cesare had, I don’t have words. I do hope Angelo finds someone.

    • Anastacia is super slutty isn’t she lol. She’s a shameless one, but I love her. She’s amazing, and she knows it. Angelo and Cesare know it too, which is why they are both in love with her. Angelo will find someone, hopefully soon (And yes, she has ebony skin as well). He deserves love too 🙂 . Your review has given me some ideas, thank you for that. Mickey’s love interest though, is also a black woman. She has skin like dark caramel, silky and smooth, but she wasn’t born in America. She was born in Africa. The same with Lucca. Davina will be his love interest, and she is not American either. I guess I can see why you find this far-fetched that the women they be interested in be brown skinned because it is out of the norm, but I don’t find it funny in the slightest. It’s just the way it is in this series. Perhaps what is hilarious is that these powerful African women are hooking up with these Sicilian Mafia men, yes? I write stories where the heroines are black women, not because I can’t write any other way, but because I feel that we are underrepresented in the romance novel community. I won’t be changing that within this series. I hope this doesn’t make you dislike the rest of the series, and I hope you still read. I really am happy that you have enjoyed most of what you have read so far, and I hope I can continue to entertain you as the series continues. Oh, and sorry about the incestuous feel in the story too, it was just the way the story unfolded lol. Did not want to make anyone feel uncomfortable.

43. Thank you M for that answer, please do not change the way you write just to please others. I read other authors but I wouldn’t ask them to included other ethnicities etc in their writing because that’s not how they write their books or particular series that being said, there are authors (black) who write with one particular demographic characters Irish, American and Italian and I certainly would not ask them to include a different ethnic person in a particular series and I love their books. If you decide to write a book with other ethnicities I would still buy them because you weave wonderful stories that keep me hounding your page for the next adventure.

    When I read the first 3 books about Nathan and Carter, I imagined the pairings as follows:- Kyle and Reanna, Lucca and Tamara, Mickey and Isabella and Dante and Gabriel. I notice that you are going to pair Lucca and Davina. I am about to read part DB4, so will see how Lucca got interested in Davina. Anticipating part 5. Books 1-3 are in my all time top 10 books. I have read them several time even though I have about 100 unread books on my kindle. Keep up the good work. Will there be any more books in the Love stories series?

45. I agree with Annabelle, I love your writing and please don’t change directions based on what others want to see. I loved how you paired Lucca with someone who will understand him better. I can’t wait to see if Mickey will be paired with a certain someone in Carter’s organization. I am curious if Tamara will be making an appearance in future books exploring her attraction to Nathan’s cousin. Will Pauli be making an appearance in other books? I don’t think it’s far fetched that these men hadn’t found long lasting love yet because of who they are and what they do and find nothing wrong with them being with women of color. This is why I read your books and i am so glad that I took the chance and I have even got my mother (who is an avid reader) to read your books. Can’t wait for the next book.

    As a bi-racial woman (African American and Italian) and yes my father, who has passed on and was connected, I was quite amused at your story. Carter and Nathan I get since they met as children it was plain to see that they took an instant liking to each other. There relationship was funny, exciting and so full of love…but, having grown up in that world, it was far from truth especially for an African American woman. The dinner that Carter attended, my mother was never allowed at such functions due to her skin color, although my father loved her dearly and he was very good to us, we knew our place.

    Understand me Ms. Hardin I loved your books, I found them very entertaining and the stories very good, coming from an outsider. Sicilian family members have a very bleak view of African- American people and though the men may play around with us, they would never bring us into the family, especially at that level.

    Mikilo I absolutely adore, and I found Cater to be an interesting character with amazing/unbelievable skill, and from what I know of the Unione Corse, my doubts are high with that one. Kyle’s story was lovely, He and Reanna I get also due to her babysitting Sophia for 2 years. I was amazed that Anastacia didn’t handle her siblings herself which makes me believe that even though they mistreated her she still couldn’t bring herself to kill them, having her daughter do it different.

    I found that the Salerno family, having had it’s roots in Sicily due to Angelo and Cesare, would have known this. I know things change but in that world very little does. I understand Dante’s reluctance to telling his dad. It could very well be a death sentence for him, (This I know for fact) as I said very little changes in that world and if a man is gay no one would ever know.

    I look forward to the next installment in this series which I believe will feature Luca, which I also found amusing that he wasn’t married already. Made-me are generally married at a younger age than Luca is.

    I do like your stories, my sister and I enjoyed them and had a good laugh, probably because we know differently.

    • Okay, well. I’m glad you two had a good laugh …. I guess, but I just don’t understand what makes that so amusing. It sounds sad to me. If two people fall in love they should be able to be together regardless of race. I hate to hear that your mother was treated that way, really. If you don’t mind me saying, your father’s family should have been more accepting of the woman he chose to be with. Thats just so sad. It makes me glad that I write fiction, because I couldn’t imagine Nathan or Kyle, or any of my guys treating the woman they love that way. Lucca isn’t married yet, because he was just interested in juggling multiple women. I don’t know how it happens in your world, but in the one I created the men don’t get married until they are ready. This is why I write fiction, because real life sucks. Dante being gay should not be a death sentence, that is just wrong, but I guess where your from that’s just the way it is??? Anastacia can bring herself to kill her siblings. She just wanted to have some fun with them. Its all apart of her crazy. And lastly, I just will never understand what is so d-word funny about racism. If your mother was treated the way you say, and if you (as a part black woman) are mistreated because of the color of your skin by your Italian family THAT IS NOT FUNNY. There are humorous scenes in my stories, but the love between the man and woman they end up with is not one of the things I meant to be funny. And it makes me very uncomfortable that you and Mr. Jack are finding humor in racism. But all in all, I’m glad you enjoyed the story, I guess. *Sigh* I don’t really know anymore. I just had surgery today, and y’all are making me tired.

I also didn’t find anything funny about those previous comments and love the world you’ve created for your characters. I don’t find it far fetched that two people who may seem like complete opposites for any host of reasons could fall in love – those sorts of things happen everyday. I absolutely love the strong WOC you feature in your books and find your stories so intriguing, suspenseful, romantic, engaging, well written and I could go on and on – but not amusing and especially not when it comes to the impossibility of a black woman being wanted by a man of another race or treated kindly by that love interest and their family. In any case, I hope you continue to heal and keep your creative mind going. Looking forward to reading more of your stories when you’re back on your feet!
